FS17 Mod downloading for steam version?

I bought the steam download version of FS17 and can't seem to figure out how to download mods. I have read alot of different things and I dont have the game showing up in my games. Its in the Steam/steamapp/common/farmingsimulator17 file but there is no Mods folder in it. Has anyone else dealt with this and if so can you help me please?

I dont have that folder. The game doesn't show up in my games folder. Only in the steamapp folder. And within that folder there is no mod folder.

did you start the game even once? im sure that folder is created first time you start a map and save your game

If that doesnt work, simply create the folders yourself

There is a pdlc folder and a sdk folder would one of those be it?

The mod folder is NOT in the Steam Apps sub folder. The mods fodler will be in the Documents>My Games> Farming sim 17> mods

and the mods folder is not there unless you have downloaded any mods from ingame, so you need to create this folder yourself

I think many of us have been there before you (looking the wrong place) now your grey hair can get the right collor again :D

its basicly the same as downloading for the disk version
