not exactly. when using the "chopped straw" mod, the chopped straw, not the long straw, stays lying on the ground and when you plough or cultivate over, it makes one fertilizer state.
you can switch the harvester if it should chop the straw or not, default key [ , ]
the unchopped straw can be picked up or baled and used for stable inlay or in the produce of mixed food.
there are literally too many vids on youtube to list them here...
are you german, Dortmunder? there is a nice series of videos explaining equipment by a bavarian lady...
(doing a search, brb)
Been doing the jobs for other farmers and all of those have left nothing behind on the field. They spray out the back what I assume is the non-usable part of the harvest as fertilizer.
And no, I'm from Canada. Can you recommend one good Youtuber that does good equipment explanations in english? Almost everything I find when searching is just basic how to start the game guides.
no, I don't know much youtuber videos personally. but just give it some time, other players here in the forums may know some.
yes, they spray the chopped straw out, you can switch the output even in farmers jobs pressing comma, but you can't get the straw since it is removed when the job is done.
as said, you only can use it as fertilizer when using the "chopped straw mod".
