seasons looks nice but it is still not particularly realistic.
I would too, but from the looks of it, soilmod isnt going to happen anytime soon, this was posted a couple days ago by the guy who scripts/puts together soilmod... apparently he is going through some difficult times on a personal level.
"Due to personal/family/friends/work related issues (i.e. 'real life/the world outside/time'), I haven't had any motivation the past months to delve myself into SoilMod script-coding."
bga extension turns it into a power plant.
you add fuel (silage and/or other crops) twice a day and don't get paid for the silage but receive income for the power it produces.
The real problem, which I notice even without seasons, is there's nothing to really do to spend your time when you're waiting on your fields. You can do part-time work at other farms, but even that gets a bit tedious. In the end, I end up staring at my chickens while on 160x speed.
I love this game, (this being my first Farming Simulator game), but I really wish there were some additional time-wasting elements in the game outside of farming.
Maybe the ability to go to your farm house door and sleep to pass time? Maybe the ability to fish or hunt? Don't know. I wish there was a way to beautifully marry aspects of this game with games like Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon. xD (dodges thrown objects from angry purist farming-sim fans)
As for money...I usually always locate all 100 gold nuggets, then spend the cash on some new machines to start. (cause I HATE the really narrow sowers and cultivators)
I can understand. I'm wondering how I'll manage to stock hay bails appropriately when I decided to start caring for animals. But that is one nice thing I do like about the seasons mod, the need to plan ahead.
