Planting Trees

Okay so I am currently lined up on the corner of an empty, freshly ploughed field. I have my tree planter behind my tractor and it is loaded up with a pallet of saplings.

Can someone explain to me why every time I turn on the tree planter, I get the warning message come up saying there are too many trees and I need to cut some down first? There are no trees, I am in an empty field.

Have you cut down any trees at all in this savegame? Maybe there is a load limit, or a maximum amount of trees that the game can render.

Ah, Now I see. It isn't telling me that there are too many trees here. Just on the map in general. No, I only cut down about 6 trees on this map. I was trying to plant a field of trees because they take 5 years to grow.

a post i saw said for planted trees it takes 10 in-game day to grow fully me personly i get placeable trees mods n changed the xml file prices to $0 cost did the same to a sower by adding poplar so it could sowe them a cheat YES

There is a mod called "more trees" in the in game mod screen under "other".Cures that problem,seems to work fine!
