Logging Problems
I like the logging asspect of the game but the log physics is ridiculous. I made a nice neat pile of logs with the Ponsee but when I try to load them up it's like playing pick-up sticks. Thousand pound logs are bouncing around like nothing. I tried downloading a nice deep dump trailer so I could just drop them in and the logs float above the trailer witout dropping in. Any mods around that can fix this? Please fix.

I think it's just FS17's awesome physics! One of the things we overlook because the other stuff is so good : / I agree, it's a pita tho

I eventually settled on using the JCB front loader with log fork, dumping into the Fielgl timber runner. You can grab 3 or 4 big logs easy and the long trailer gives you lots of room for error. I liked using the buffalo for a while, but one at time, combined with wonky physics made it a drag to get hundreds of trees.

Sadly it's just the nature of the game. Maybe fs19 will get it right.

Thx. I'll try that setup. The things bounce all over for me with forks or grabbers.
