The Lizard Pickup Rodeo is ridiculously fast.
Anyone notice just how quickly the Lizard Pickup Rodeo accelerates to 60 mph? The "100 hp" model goes from 0-60 mph in about 5 and a half seconds, on a flat, straight road. What? Dude, an old pick-up truck with such a weak engine wouldn't get to 60 mph that quickly... falling off of a cliff! The only way you could get such fast acceleration out of only 100 horsepower is on a motorcycle.

What's even better, upgrade to the "190 hp" package and watch as you get the incredible acceleration of a 2005 Bugatti Veyron, and the blazing top speed of a 1963 Volkswagen Beetle! Are these pickup trucks, or RC models?

Now, how does the newer Lizard Pickup TT fare? With its 200hp, it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in around 6-7 seconds and struggles to reach its top speed on a flat, straight road.

Your typical pickup truck of today will probably reach 0-60 mph in maybe 7-10 seconds, and have a top speed of around 120-130 mph.

This would not be an issue if the acceleration in general wasn't so janky. You press the trigger just a little bit, nothing. But the length of a few atoms more, BAM! Instant 30 mph! And your poor farmer has shot out of the back window, and landed about 500 feet away from the truck!

If Lizard could get its air resistance issues sorted out, they could produce the FASTEST production pickup truck on the planet. But for now, they will have the title of the fastest 0-60 mph pickup truck.

Thank you and have a good day! =)

Haha good read. You're absolutely right, the acceleration is very very wrong on the trucks.

I never use the in game pickups these days, much prefer the Defender but even that has unreal acceleration.
The drive control mod soft gas function helps curb the acceleration.
Try hitting the train at that speed and see how far you fly.
