Cow Power Food?

I have never done anything with cows in FS17. What is the power food?

Power food is made using the mixing wagon. It is part hay, part straw and part silage mixed in appropriate combination.

if you have the 64,000l mixer witch i do strongly suggest you do its 3 straw bales and 6 grass/hay and the rest is silage

If that is a unmodded mixer then it no longer accepts grass, Giants fixed it, have to have hay now. Was never suppose to take grass.

Its all good, yeah they kept the same URL but offer mods for both FS15 and FS17. Those mixers are awesome since theres really no actual storage for earth fruits i lile the pig food mixer because i plant a small field of potatoes and after harvest i just dump all of them into the pig food mixer. I got 40,000 liters out of field 12 in Gold Valley i believe. Since they only makeup 5% of the pig food they will last a long time.

The cow food mixer is awesome as well but in FS17 you have to give them forage (straw, grass/hay, and silage) as well as straw and grass in order to get 100% productivity from your cows.

I tried doing all three animals at once and you will run yourself ragged trying to care for them all. Usually its just constantly having to cleanup their food area.
