Yeah, alot of people missed this mainly because Giants were quite sneaky about it , there was a poll where Giants asked what people would like to see more of. Number one spot: More tractors and equipment

Seriously?

I would prefer more in-depth gameplay.
But ok, if that is what people voted for.

Yes that's the problem with a generalized voting system because the majority just answer with out thinking how they can improve the game , most people just vote for more tractors and implements either so they do not have to download them again and again or because there favourate brand only has a couple of models ingame and they want to own every model the company has ever produced in real life

Ok after reading the survey link i can admit my comment above about poll's being to generalized
in this instance are far from true as this survey was detailed and looked designed to get the best
genuine answers to improving the game

From what I'm hearing, pure farming 17 will cost $29.99 and be released in March or April in 2017 . For what giants wants for this dlc is half of what I will be paying for a new game with more crops, more and diffrent brands plus some new equitment to boot . Futher more cattle and crops early edition is due out in March also . So in reality that $15 buchs can be spent more wisely that a dlc that is already out there is a mod .

It must be difficult for a game to release DLC with the workshop and mods. Who would pay for add-ons when you can get all for free? I have no problem buying dlc, but with 100's of similar options. I dont know.

Still plenty of options.

How about a market? Or seasons? Christmas addons. New fruits. A real worker model to hire people.
Or add fish and deer.
Make a new map with more alive AI and passenger trains, anything.
Add a cropduster plane you can hire with you putting the marker flags.

There is a season manager mod .It works pretty good .Its not perfect, but again giants will never ever give FS seasons .

I dont get developers/publishers, would it not be more profit if they make the price lets say € 5 and 80% buy it. Then make it € 15 and only 20% buy it ?

You would think so . But these devs. are like bean counters . They figure the price of the dlc in development, then figure who will buy it . Giants right now is rolling in money due to no real compition . This will change when CnC and PF17 are released .
