Game simply won't start, and it seems to not have any files besides the .exe?
Hello there!

It is an issue I have since I downloaded the game (I didn't have the time to go too deeply into it, so I just abandonned it until recently when I was finally a bit more free), and I just reinstalled it to try again.
The problem is; when I try to simply press "Play" in my Steam Library, there is a short moment where it seems Steam is seemingly trying to download or launch some files, and then, it just stops without doing anything.

At the time, I already searched here, and couldn't find anything to help me, especially since my main issue is, (and as the title says): I don't have any files, besides the .exe, in the local files in my Steam folder.
Everything I saw to help start the same advised to replace the XNA framework, or to repair the .NET... But I can't start anything because my file is just as empty as the void... (and just in case, I already tried going in Roaming, and the "Blossom Tales" folder only contains something that is apparently only for the Steam cloud).
And to add some precisions, my antivirus doesn't give me any alerts about the files, it doesn't tell me that it has quarantined them for safety or anything, so I don't think it's this?

So, I'm really sorry if this seems idiotic and just having the .exe is totally normal, but even then, what should I do?
I really want to play this game, and I just can't find anything to help my case-

Thank you in advance for any advice!

same issue for me. only .exe file and game isn't launching. I'm experiencing this issue with numerous games on steam lately.
