Lightning use?
I just finished the game and it is great. At some point you get lightning magic. I tried to use it, but it didn't work!? Do you need to collect all the green shards stuff to increase your magic to the max to use lightning?

No, you don't need to get all the energy updates to use it. If you try to use it when there aren't any enemies in range, it just won't do anything. Occasionally it seems to miss and do nothing even when enemies are nearby, so you might need to try a second time. When it does strike it's pretty effective.
is it a reference to thunder that can miss in pokemon and earthbound? lol
I feel the damage for all the medallions is the same, whatever "value" of damage that happens to be in numbers. Probably less for the Bee Medallion, but they may stay spawned until they actually do the same amount as the others.
Regardless, the Lightning Medallion is insanely cool to use. Especially for groups. I used the Quake for zombies and it was so satisfying, but the Lightning for blasting the Orcs was awesome. It's a shame it's too late in the game, could have come in handy several times prior to the final dungeon.

Does the Bee Medallion do this too? If there are no enemies on screen do they just buzz around or do they attack you instead. The game America McGee's Alice had Demon Dice and if there were no enemies around the Imps or Demon (depending on how much you leveled it) would attack you.
