how do i get stan to spawn near pinecone village?

I have same issue. What triggers it. Is it game play time, amount of objects, something else?

Check during day time by computer clock. Seems like there was an earlier discussion regarding this. Somewhat frustrating design decision.

Some say that he appears from 9AM to 5PM on the pc clock, in relation to the letter quest that says that it is near the pinecone village, he accepts the letter anywhere, it is not just near the ice city.

The game has other things as well that were left unfixed like the Ice Amulet rumor and ugly display of numeric keypad keys when opening the map if placed by the player, but the game overall is good.
