Completionist question

I've been having fun playing the game without a walkthrough so far.
As far as I can tell, I'm already reaching the endgame.

The map's rather huge...I've been doing a few rounds in different areas now, and so far I have:
- 18 scrolls (2 left to find)
- 16 full hearts (meaning 4 full hearts, or probably 16 quarter hearts to find)
- Green bar (I can't estimate how many crystals I need for, so far its as long as 8 hearts

My game progress so far, I just reached the save point right at the entrance to Crocus Castle in the Wastelands

Is there a walkthrough (yet) on finding all these stuff?

Also the tree spirit acheivement thing...I'm lost.
Is it something about cleansing the evil trees, or with the lumberjacks?

No walkthrough yet as far as I know.

The tree spirit achievement is related to the evil trees in the wood area AND inside the wood temple. You have to find 20/20 of these trees and beat them up so they turn good.
After that you've to go to the great tree (also found in the wood area) and he rewards you with a heart piece (or green crystal) and the achievement.
The picture of the achievement is misleading,yes.

I have yet to find a complete walkthrough, hints, or even a video series that's comprehensive. I suspect the closest thing so far to a 100% guide is the rought notes I've taken while playing. In total by my estimation, there are 20 scrolls, 48 heart pieces, and 16 small energy crystals. I'm currently at 19 hearts and two pieces to find, and one %$#@% scroll missing.

Edit: Scratch that whole thing about the missing scroll. The one I thought I missed was the wrong one, and after wandering around a bit I found a suspicious area I walked past dozens of times already and never tried to examine. One achievement left!

There's no special trick to the evil trees. They're all in Golem's Haven -- 8 in the dungeon and 2 in the overworld. Purge them all then go back to the Treel Lord to claim your reward.

I'lm struggling to get everything too... I will do a full map search but I'm afraid that won't be enough, it's easy to miss something.
Speaking of which: in another thread, the dev says there is something special hidden in the INN but I can't find what. Anyone could help me with that?

Two hints should make it easier: Your sword button will change to text when you're near things you can interact with, and one of the things you can do is DRAG certain objects.

Nice ,thanks. In that regard, at the village with the orange haired folks, in one house you can drag the table to open up a hole which leads to another heart piece.

Near Golem's Haven (inside a cavern) if I remember correctly, you can find a Fairy with a smaller fairy, which gives you a heart piece. I came back later after finishing the story and the fairy gave me a second heart piece. Unless I've done anything wrong and just forgot to get the 1st piece in the first place. :sans:

Wait, after finishing the story? And the fairy can give another heart piece?

I was under the impression that you can find everything before reaching the final boss and that the fairies only give the heart piece once.

* How many fairies are there, btw? I only found two different ones so far.

Nvm,my mistake. There are two fairies, one near Golem's Haven at South Blosson and one in the Marches.

I've got another question: I finished the game and now the king (end game spoiler) gave me a ring allowing me to teleport and asks me to "finish this once and for all". Is there something else I have to do?

He should be referring to Crocus, who you can beat again.

You have all green crystals, you get a last full green crystal for finding all 20 scrolls, just got it.

Guess what, I found 2 other hidden that way :D

One in the village at the foot of the pinecone village
One in the quarters of the knight, under a bed :D

Yeah...just found all 20 scrolls, giving it to Elissa got me the last green crystal, hence getting me the scroll and green crystal acheivements at the same time.

Which leaves me with hunting for hearts. According to my inventory and missing number of full hearts, I seem to be missing 9 quarter hearts.

I think I can wait a while for someone to come up with a complete guide for the hearts...

I'lm missing 4 scrolls, 5 poh and 2 crystal pieces... I think I missed some in the dungeons: I found one of each in the first dungeon but didn't in the other ones. Is there one item of each in each dungeon?
I'll do a full map sweep but I'm afraid that won't be enough :(

This is a bit too rough currently (in my opinion) to publish as a complete guide, but it has everything except the two heart pieces I'm missing. I'm still wandering around looking for them, but I'll welcome hints to where the last two can be found.
