Grandpa's "puzzle gauntlet" cave... help

There's this cave in the northern part of the map on the way to Frostroot Shrine with a couple of these charging blue ice golems right outside.

Inside is a chest and you need to solve 3 puzzles in succession to access it. The first 2 are simple enough, one of those "light up all the floor tiles" and a singing stones one.

But the 3rd i just don't understand... there's 4 Pillars with the usual symbols on it, and one of same symbols is on each wall in random locations in the room, but i can't see a logical pattern there... at all.

I tried various patterns using the symbols as they appear clockwise or counterclockwise, both 1:1 as they look on screen or how they "would" look like if Lily was facing that wall. Nothing worked so far...

I'm probably overthinking this, could someone please tell me the solution?

Ah, thanks a lot. So it's starting from the left wall, clockwise, using the symbols as if you'd look directly at the wall... i could've sworn i did try that too. >_<

It's one of those "guess what the developer is thinking" puzzles. Like with Mario Maker. The clue is so ambiguous that there are almost as many logical solutions as guessing randomly. Thanks for the solution.

Solution: Up Down Right Left

I think the dev meant to make the north wall point up. So if you read the glyphs clockwise they give the correct solution. They just messed up because the north points down which is wrong.

Alternatively you could also try every combination to figure this out.

i did the entrance to the frostroot shrine immediately after this puzzle, and although i've played the game before, i really didn't like this. 2/4 knights don't match the tiles at all. two broken puzzles in a row is pretty annoying, even if they are easy to cheese.

It was the best puzzle of the game in my opinion, solution is just looking to the wall from Lily's eyes
