Stan, everybody knows Stan! Except me
Trying to finish up all the little odds and ends before I beat the game, stalling out the showdown in the cemetary, figured I'd catch up on some deliveries.

I am supposed to meet Stan outside of Pinecovillage, at his tent. The square up down and right, no tent. The only "tent" that is around, there's one in every area, with a sign saying closed come back later. I assumed I was supposed to give it over there. Thought maybe I had to give the letter TO the tent even. Nothing seems to work.

I'm feeling very close to being finished with the game. I dont know exactly my percentage of completion, but I'd say I'm very close to 100%, then I'll be writing a review of the game, and probably posting some tips and tricks on getting through the game easier.

That is amazing to hear! That closed sign was his tent. Stan is only available betweent the hours of 9am-5pm, based on your computer's clock.

Oh. I've only played the game after 10pm, so thats why I never once saw him anywhere. Makes sense.

Where is his tent outside Pinecone Village? Which square of the map is it in? I couldn't find it.

Update: nm, I actually found him somewhere else.

From pinecone village go one up and three right. You see a bright spot on the map where his camp is from his fire place (for others to know)

reading through this makes me really wonder why the developer thought this was a good idea.

why would you do this where NOTHING else in game is time based? not everyone plays games between 9am-5pm. this was driving me crazy as i beat the game and NEVER saw this dude.

Poor ol Stan works the standard 9 to 5. Probably has a wife and kids to go home to after a long day at the tent market, and he's self employed too so he doesnt make overtime, just commission. You dont want him to overwork himself do you?

All jokes aside, I do kinda agree with you here, as like I mentioned, I'd never met him in my game run through since I work during the day. There are multiple tent locations for Stan though, it might make more sense to alternate where he's staying across the day so Stan is always around, *Somewhere*, you just have to find him.

Just admit it was a crap idea and fix it already. Not being able to 100% over this made me quit playing and wont be buying sequel.

Did you consider just changing the time on your clock?

I think its kind of funny, but I had to look it up my self. Never met stan 🤷‍♂️
A sign with literal opening hours would help

yeah for real, i thought this was just some kind of late game thing that i didnt get to last time i played. i really want more energy very badly, it's so annoying with it still running out very fast very early in the game. i do enjoy that we don't have to collect ammo, but by the end of the game i'd rather be able to stock up on 50 arrows or bombs or something and shoot as many as i want to.

Really bad idea, especially since most people who buy the are working during those times

Playing through the game again, and must have just missed him. Having events based on computer time is a neat trick, but the way it's done here adds nothing, and subtracts an NPC from 6PM and on.

Agreed. Not sure why it was based on a clock. Didn't cause me an issue as I played enough of it during the day to buy all his items. But, even then, it's not that hard to change the timer on the PC/console.
