I have never had a 2D game make me motion sick before.
Congratulations.

I'm having the same issue. I just checked out the demo and within minutes I was having motion sickness problems. I think it has to do with the jarring way the camera pans when you turn.

I've been excited about this game for a quite a while, but now I'm not sure I'll be able to play it, unfortunately.

That's sad to hear folks. We never experienced that on our side, but we will difinitely look into this further. We want as many people as possible to be able to have fun with Blossom Tales!

That's great to hear! I'll definitely be able to provide quick feedback as to whether a specific camera change has helped.

After playing the game I think you are having a problem with the screen scrolling when the character travels across the screen.I dont think this is something the developers can't"fix".I believe you are just sensetive to certain motion in games. Its really is not bad or an issue.I reccommend trying to make the game windowed and smaller. It might help.I dont mean to be negative on your problem but its a 2D game.VERY few people are going to have the issue you are.Sorry you can't enjoy the game though.

It's specifically the way the camera lags behind the character when moving -- and it's made a bit worse by the fact that the camera "snaps" quickly when the character changes direction.

I am indeed sensitive to motion in games, but I typically only have problems with first person games that have a narrow field of view. I don't want to say I've never had motions sickness problems from a 2D game, but it's very rare.

And the developers definitely could fix (or at least improve) the situation by adding an option to reduce or remove the camera delay. But I understand that this problem affects a very small percentage of users and I don't expect them to make any changes just for me and the guy who started this topic.
