The Missing Crew - Whirlpool Sewer

I'm trying to do the quest called "The Missing Crew" which is inside the Whirlpool Sewer, but I'm finding it extremely difficult to complete because of the labyrinthian design of the area.

I've gone in there probably 5 times now, every time I end up reloading or getting out of there because I run out of air. I've come across some sections where it looks like I could get further by diving, but they're all sub-500 meters, so I can't do it.

Anyone willing and able to help me out a bit?

For this mission, the hint that the devs have provided for us is to follow the buoy's through the tunnels. Once you get to the end of the final tunnel that they lead you to, you'll find the crippled sub.

so got this game, awhile back, and got aroundto playing it today. and there are absolutely no bouys, nothing to follow. Not anymore I guess. so can i get a location?
