Cannot download Tortuga

How do you install Tortuga? I launch the game, start solo mode...it says "Kaufen" (buy)...the Steam page pops up, I am prompted if I have Steam installed or not...but nothing happens.

If I do not start the game but click on "Download" on the Tortuga page, the game launches but nothing happens and I still cannot play the new content.

This is what I did to make the DLCs available in my game:

1. In the Steam app, click the Library tab (or hover over Library and select Games).
2. Right-click Infinite Minigolf from your list of games and select Properties.
3. In the Properties pop-up window, click on the DLC tab.
4. Click to un-select and re-select the checkboxes for each DLC.

After I re-selected the checkboxes, I got the download-in-progress notification at the bottom-center border of the Steam app. When the download was completed, I opened Infinite Minigolf and was able to play the Tortuga and Hangar 37 DLCs. I hope this helps!

Same here , went through DLC click download , starts the game , no Tortuga :(

I had that happen to me too but then I got it downloaded. Here is what I did to get it to download for me after seeing that the download in the game was asking me if I had steam or not and clicking the button to download didn't seem to do anything.
1. I went to the store page after closing the game.
2. I clicked on the DLC
3. I added it to my cart
4. Then I noticed that my cart was gone, had nothing in it. I went back to the store page, clicked on the DLC again and saw that it said it was now IN LIBRARY.
5. I read somewhere that might need to restart steam so I did a restart of my PC!
6. When steam started back up, the download of the DLC started!
7. Started the game and the DLC was installed and I played it for the first time!

Didn't work. I choose "Add all DLCs" but I cannot "buy" the DLC. Buying for me and buying as gift are both greyed out. Can't add it to my cart.

uninstalled, reinstall, clicked the DLC, said in library. finally it's there

Very interesting. If you guys try ticking Tortuga on the Steam page of the game, then waiting a little, then ticking it in again, can you see it?

You could try right-clicking on the game -> View Downloadable content -> View available downloadable content -> Add all DLC-s to cart can you see it then?

Thanks for your reply!

1) If I add all DLCs to my cart and wanna buy it, "buy it for me" and "buy as gift" are both greyed out.

2) If I go to the Tortuga page I can only click on "Download"....this launches Infinite Minigolf and nothing else happens. If I go to solo mode, I see Tortuga there and the button "Buy" appears. I click it and I am asked if I have Steam installed or if I want to download and install Steam. I click on installed..and nothing happens.

German version. Switching to English did not solve the problem. "Allow downloads while playing" did not solve it either.

Maybe the download is region-restricted? I am from Austria.

I deleted the whole game and redownloaded it, then it showed DLC as installed and i was able to play it.

cant get it installed on pc either keeps askingif steam is installed i press yes nothing happens
i try to download from steam outside game nothing happens
unistalled game and reisntalled exactly the same unable to add totuga

to add to this if you mouse over the download on tortuga it does say play game so the wrong command must be there?
I can now verify after uninstalling reinstalling etc it is Impossible to install tortuga how some people have been able to beats me
ok thats weird went to reinstall and noticed it now says i own tortuga and on instaling main game that also now says installed

I have tried all the above and uninstalled and reinstalled three times but still cannot download Tortuga. Contacted steam . They advised look up gameslist and click on downloadable contant tab for the game but there is no downloadable content tab under this game whrere as ther is for other games so still no joy. Have advised steam of this and await their reply.

Often DLC's are treated much like "subscribed" stuff in steam workshop. What I often have to do is go to library in the steam UI, click Downloads and manually force it to download. It will usually be "qued up" but never download unless you force it. (regardless what your automatic download settings are set to)
