Tier list for Hero Perks.
S Tier: Iron Lungs stands here because of how many things this Hero perk counters. It screws over the ability of Flamers and Chemists to stun/disorientate their units, it counters Tear Gas and Fire Bomb, it helps unit stay active even under the effects of fire and poison barrels, and on top of all that, it even ♥♥♥♥♥ over Poison Bullets, a Hero perk! Those are 2 units, 2 attack cards, 2 barrels, and 1 Hero perk that the Iron Lungs counters. ♥♥♥♥ this perk.

A Tier: Endless Clips is most effective to a lesser amount of units unlike Volunteers for example. However, units with Endless Clips turn into absolute monsters. Units such as Sharpshooters and Commandos are absolutely not to be trifled with when they have this perk. The ability to automatically refill your clip when you kill a unit can cause a unit to become an absolute pain in the rear end to dispose off. Works well with HQ Squads such as the 5 Grunts and 2 Sharpshooters or the 2 Commandos.

B Tier: Volunteers is a great Hero perk to have all around. It gives a 30% chance of spawning another unit which can allow people to conserve munitions and rely less on more disposable units such as Grunts. Applicable to a wide array of units.

C Tier: Poison Bullets can help weak units disorientate much more powerful units. Grunts with Poison Bullets for example can especially be quite the nuisance to deal with. That being said, it still doesn't have that same influence or power as the other 4 aforementioned perks.

D Tier: Scavenger allows you rack up munitions very quickly. Useful on offense when you want to try and gather more munitions to purchase more units or even on CPU Defend or Daily Wave Defense when you may need the munitions to upgrade your structures, recruit units, buy card packs, etc. However, anyone whose played this game for a long time knows that it much better to have a single powerful attack using the Volunteers perk than to prolong the fight by sending in wave after wave of troops by racking up munitions with the Scavenger perk. It is still a great utility perk, though.

F Tier: Not that it is bad, but Bloodthirst simply isn't as great of a perk when you compare it to everything else. Every other perk allows a unit to quickly dispatch or disorientate enemies or provide extra soldiers to the battle. Bloodthirst falls off this category in that it encourages prolonged/sustained fights with the enemy. Damaging enemies will restore 15% of the assigned unit's health. However, in several situations that I have encountered before, any unit that can deal enough damage to a unit with Bloodthirst can quickly dispatch of it before it can do too much damage. Endless Clips wipes out entire clusters of weak enemy units, Poison Bullet can give units a window of opportunity to take out an enemy, and Iron Lungs can prevent units from being affected by Tear Gas, Poison Gas, and Fire. Bloodthirst simply doesn't have that same influence in the number of situations compared to the rest because it won't have the firepower or the ability to withstand environmental hazards and thus, a powerful unit can quickly dispatch of it. You are WAY better off having extra munitions or the possibility of getting 2 units than trying to keep a single guy(or gal if you are equipping Bloodthirst on the Sergeant for some reason) alive. Don't get me wrong, it is a great perk to have, but it doesn't have that shear utility or power of the other mentioned perks.

OH MAN! Great topic!

Don't you mean ***o perks? LOL.

VOL is better than EC any day. You can't put EC on a lot of units and you'll never get 2 at a time. You can run VOL on your whole squad coupled with $ perk and easily afford a second wave if you get wiped out. PB is best for grunts and assault. EC is best for SS, Ranger, & Commando. Scavenger is the Chemist of Hero Perks. I've found Bloodthirst kinda sucks, too. I use it on Medics; give it a try.

Good discussion and thoughts.

As for equipping Bloodthirst on my Medics, I think I'll pass for the time being. I currently only have 3 Hero Perks at the moment(Scavenger, Bloodthirst, and the OP Iron Lungs) and I don't plan giving a Hero Perk to a unit that I don't even use. Medics kind of become obsolete once you unlock better support units such as the Surgeon, Sergeant, or Colonel. I don't have the Surgeon yet, but from what I've seen on YouTube videos as well as seeing enemy Surgeons on CPU/Wave Defense, the Surgeon blows the doors off of whatever support the Medic can provide since a group of Surgeons can keep a whole squad alive in such a way Medics can only dream of.
