Game only shows top left portion of image zoomed full screen
So when I launch the game I see a zoomed-in picture of the top left portion of the image. It's like I only see 1/4 of the screen with a big logo that says "MANTI" (the rest is cut off). Needless to say, it is unplayable (I can't even get past the first screen).

Is there any way to change the resolution manually before entering the game? My experience so far is looking like an upcoming refund... :(

I run a fairly standard Alienware PC from a few years ago, aging but nevertheless still perfectly capable of running every modern game relatively decently. Intel Core i7-4820K 3.70 GHz, 32 GB RAM, Windows 10 64-bit, GeForce GTX 770, 2560x1440.

Any help appreciated.

Hello!

Can you try pressing ALT+ENTER when the game has launched.

Or you can change the resolution manually in the registry.
Open "regedit" (type this in windows search programs to find it)
Then locate HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VooFoo Studios\VFRacer\NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970-4318-5058-828380258-161
(Your graphics card may differ)

Then choose __._DISPLAY1 and change the "WindowHeight" and "WindowWidth" to your desired resolution.

If this doesent work then do the same for "__._DISPLAY2" and "__._DISPLAY3" etc.
You can also change the other display settings inside "VFRacer" such as windowed or fullscreen mode.

Hope that helps.
Merry Christmas! :)

Thanks for taking the time to find a solution. It only works in part. ALT-ENTER does allow me to see the full picture but only for the current session. Once I quit and restart the game the process has to be done again (it restarts in zoomed-in 1/4 format).

The game becomes unresponsive for several seconds each time I try ALT-ENTER and it's quite annoying to be honest. I'm now trying to install it on my work laptop instead to see if it's more playable there.

Have you tried changing the graphics settings in game? These should save when applied. Setting your native resolution of 2560x1440 along with setting the game to fullscreen mode should help!

Oh yes, sorry I should have mentioned I tried all that. I tried setting it to 2560x1440 (native) in-game and also tried 1080p, tried fullscreen and windowed, but whenever I restart the game I'm always treated to the same 1/4 thing and temporary unresponsiveness. Strangely, the game does remember the last settings I gave it but it just seems to ignore it on restart.

The game did run on my laptop but unfortunately the framerate makes it nearly unplayable. Might give this game a try later if it gets updated.

Thanks again for the suggestions and Merry Christmas to you as well. Cheers!
