I'd say it'd be best to do a combination - like using the G27 and mouse/keyboard or G27 and Xbox controller. So like an option to do a wheel plus whatever other input you'd like to control the character outside of the car etc. Although make things like ignition and some interior things possible to keybind to G27 buttons when you're sitting in the driver seat.

Well most of the people who plays race sims, it has a G25, G27, G29 or T150, T300, maybe Fanatec CSR or Clubsport V1 or V2. If the game become compatible with this Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec wheels, the game will cover the most players with a wheel I think.

P.D. I'm a user of a T300RS, I'm looking for the compatibility before buying the game. ^^

I am afraid not at launch. But we're looking into it. Can you let me know what wheel set up you have as I'd like to make a small list of the best wheels to support :)

All the best,

Another Logitech G27 user here...and it would be awesome to have that option.

Thrustmaster T500/T300.
Logitech G25/27/29

I'd imagine those will be the most commonly owned wheels, Fanatec support would be good too but given the price of a fanatec setup they'll be less popular.

Also if you do add wheel support, please make sure thegame can detected multiple devices, as Spintires doesn't so if you have a seperate shifter or pedals the game won't pick them up.

Almost bought this today, but I just can't play FP driving games without full wheel support. I'll come back when they're added.

Logitech G27 here too.

I also have a Logitech Driving Force GT. And I would love playing this with a wheel. Would feel much more like a simulator.

If wheel gets implemented to this thing, it will be an instant purchase for me.

Also +1 to this guy:
