Best engine setup??
I've been playing for a bit and have upgraded my car to the MAX fast stuff, but it falls apart TOO quickly im fine if my engine is "hurt" but.. What will make everything else efficient, fast and durable? :)

I guess there's no such thing as cons/pros for every part so far.

I stick with top parts with 4 points of durability, so I have no problems going uphill, plus it allows me to complete a route about 20% faster.

Yes. The red and black engine has 4 points of durability (forgot its name, but it is the bottom option), but is a bit slower than the HKS/HSK.

For my engine i only use HKS/HSK Parts. My top speed is 120km/h but every part only has 3 "Durability points" before that i used Carbo-lite parts :D

Does anyone know the differences between the Engine Types? Why is the Ramshakle more expensive than the standard, even though it only has one piston?

If the game's going by real life, which lets assume so, ramshackle will provide better fuel economy as theres only one cylinder, but personally, I haven't tested it.

Thought you were talking about a TF2 class when I read the title.

And if you have trouble getting the currency to buy these upgrades, hit esc then "return home", fill your car with parts, repeating return home if needed, then take the shortest route to the town, sell your stuff, and repeat.

But, with the engine talk, your best bet is the Krone Kong Components. Krone Kong's stuff is a cross between HSK/HKS and Carbolite, Not gonna lie, I was pretty surprised when I went searching engines on the Jalopy Wikia.
