How do you edit the money file?

ive located the file in the game save folder but its just a encripted mess, 1 small line but there is no way to make heads or tails of it, do you know a way to change it other than getting a lot of money ingame, saving the stat and "re filling" it as you spend it? does anyone have the data for 1,000 for example? ive played though nearly all of it but i always run out of repair kits when i reach bulgaria.

Copy the moneyAmount file into your X:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\MinskWorks\Jalopy directory where X is the drive you have installed Windows (usually C) and username is your Windows account username. Start the game and continue and you will have $1422.

If you keep the file somewhere, you can copy it over again and again (save/quit, copy it over into the directory, continue and have $1422 again).

Guys, if you need to cheat to gain money in Jalopy, you ain't playing it right. The game has a working economy with supply and demand.
Upgrade your engine parts at junkyards or abandoned Laikas, only use the crowbar you find at gas stations, and focus on wine, meds, until you can get yourself the Lvl 1 tool rack. From there on out, it's smooth sailing.
Remember that you can carry up to three boxes while driving. Carry the locked ones.
Open the door, drop them as close as possible, get in the Laika and start the car, then pick up the boxes from inside the Laika and close the door.

You were raised well my child, also I will confirm that you should never use cheat engine, its a low level modding program used as a vehicle to download viruses onto your computer, and anyone who says "Well, I've used cheat engine and it works just fine and doesn't harm my computer." is either an idiot or a bot.

hello there after working on it for one hour finally all of you can use to cheat money in this tutorial i made here !!

1.first of all we need CHEAT ENGINE (Officall Version) from
https://www.cheatengine.org/
2.a little focus and hardwork (just little ,lol)

ok if the requires filled successfully , then lets start
1.open jalopy.exe
2.goto anywhere that we can waste money on it for $5 to $20 (hold the range pls!)
3.after you arrive dont buy anything ! , open cheat engine and click no for seeing tutorials section , from corner of top-left you can choose an app with memory access to edit the data of it , and if you pay some attention the button blink in two colors , select opened jalopy.exe
4.go back to game and see and memories the amount of your money by pick the walet from freak vehicle or if you in tutorial mod just using the repair tool requesting paper from middle of fence right next to the engine and other stuff placement
5.after seeing it , please switch to cheatengine and type or paste the amount of your money in field that named or pointed to VALUE , and click FirstScan
6.in left list you will see around 5 or 7 thousand of data that include some svhost as well if you do know about terminal hostess , ANYWAYYY
7.please select all of rows in left list by using Ctrl+A or select the first scroll to last hold SHIFT and press last row and it will select
8.use button that have arrows THAT created a pointer from left list to bottom list ,
after clicking the datas should be take 1 or 2 sec to imported
9.ok in this part go back to game and buy something as i mentioned from $5 to $20, and go back to CheatEngine
10.Click on Column-Header of Value and remove any data that they value is not same as your new amount of money !!!!, like i happend to have $20 and after search and importing i buy a bottle of water ($5), the data of imported rows starting to change to remove or add ........ , just do as I SAY IF YOU WANNA GOOD MONEY IN YOUR HAND
11.After deleting different rows you will end up having 4 or 2 rows (note:the normal is 2 rows if you found 4 or more please do the No.9 again) that is the correct memory address for accessing to the value of money that game currently holding it.
12.change the value by double-clicking on it like if have $15 and make it $150 to see if it work or not.
13. and they you have it , (i change it to 5000 to mess with latptop's dump memory LOL)
