As long as the game continues to get polished and the dev(s) make the game-play as smooth and responsive as possible, Jalopy would do well on the Switch. Maybe could even use Mario Kart vehicles as the main vehicle haha
This game isn't "shovelware".
Just saying..i know what you mean as there are a lot of trash games/poor quality on the Switch. Those are easy to avoid if checking their reviews before purchase. Jalopy is something very unique in atmosphere and design.
Jalopy reminds me of the old "Hard Drivin" games of old. For the arcade where it first released, it was quite something to see back then. Smooth frame rate and overall, very realistic in design. It had a sit-down cabinet and even stick-shift. Very expensive though at the time, something like over $5000.00 for a single player unit i think (late 1980's).
