Gold wrench
Hi all!
There's something "new" with gold wrench from tool rack? After update I can't repair tyres. Their condition is about 2/3 or 1/3 and gold wrench didn't work...

I hope the authors didn't listen voices from "real lifers" and they didn't nerf that tool...

They added a new "Tyre Repair Kit" which you can buy in the Outershops and I think also petrol stations

Ok, but this tool is available in Outer and Petrol's but it takes space in trunk/roof rack.
I've just checked this new kit and it's not working... Tyres has 1/3. Wheel is unscrewed and no action with Kit.
I can only fix engine parts with gold wrench...

The tire repair kits only patch blown tires. Likely meant to last you long enough to get to a Station to buy a brand new tire. Which from my playthrough doesn't quite work as I ran out of the buggers after the same tire kept popping every five feet it seemed.

Zerris, thx for the info. So now, the kits are only to fix tire to get the shop and buy new wheels? It's quite bad. I though the kits repair tires as "real lifers" think:-D Get puncture, tire repaired and working as new one.
One last thing, the 1 kit repairs only one tire?

Yep from my testing the kits only patch one tire up to 1/3 from 0/3. And if the road or weather is bad, then the emergency patch won't hold more than five seconds. Hopefully they will at some point introduce a Wrench equivelent tool onto the Tool Rack for tires beyond the jack.

Thx again. I has no time for long test so far. I hope that authors make some tool which will be added into tool rack. I was very dissapointed when golden wrench didnt repair my 1/3 wheel. Before patch my pitstop included engine and all wheels. Now it will be more difficult when trunk and roof rack are full of wine:-) The car weight can quick damage wheels especially on bad road. Maybe some bigger roof rack will be added into game.
