Where did this come from?

Release date is 25 September 2012 on the steam page, but is this the 2005 game with the same name or a new title?

Its new to Steam. Its not a new game. It was never released on steam until now.

Interesting. I never thought this game would show up on Steam. I wonder if other SimBin racing games like GT Legends will come to Steam too?

@Tox Laximus: One of the best racing sims out, & I mean sim. This is no arcade racer.

Was going to say http://www.nogripracing.com/ is a good place for mods/tracks, etc. but I can't seem to view it atm :(
I have all Simbin's GTR releases so far (including Race '07 with all the official add-ons), best one is GTR 2 tho'. Unless they bring back night racing & include weather in GTR 3 (& stick to it being a sim. & not just another arcade racer).

I like my race07/gtr evo sim.. but I'de like some better graphics, more track and a tunable/performance evolution system to be incorporate in the sim... not like Grand tourismo serie, but a bit more reward while progressing... Still an awesome racing sim thats for sure... to bad I bought GT Fia racing thinking it was a new installement in the franchise... I hate to race a lower resolution than 1920x1080... I'll search the net for a solution....

@OP yes it's a good title only problem I know of is SLI compatibility I have it running SLI but no guarentee if problems just disable SLI before loading the game. I also always felt that the physics were closer to rFactor than GTR2 is
