I played local coop with a friend, I don't know if it's the same rules, but you share your money with them + arcana + stuff
Basically how remote play together works is that you stream video of the game running on your computer to a friend and their input is streamed back to you and used in your game. This tricks the game into thinking that there are two controllers attached to your computer, so the game will work as it normally does for local co op. All progress will only be saved to your own account.
I haven't tried it with Wizard of Legend so I don't know that you'll be able to both use keyboards.
