Better with keyboard or controller

I am about to try out this title, and was curious as to what control method is best?

I played a lot of this game on console and on pc and I would say keyboard and mouse, mouse aim is so valuable if you are not a God at controller aim, however, 360 movement on controller is quite nice sometimes and depending on the person the bindings can feel better on controller, but in my experience, not as valuable as mouse aim. up to you, I would reccommend you do a few runs with mouse and if you feel too restricted, go to controller

Try both and see what works for you. I found controller borderline unplayable for me, only because I had a substantially easier time aiming with the mouse. Spells I can land with m/kb without issue were practically unusable for me on controller. It all depends on what you're used to, really. For comparison, a buddy of mine uses only controller, and has progressed considerably farther, faster, than myself. It's very subjective.

i mean, if you're THAT bad at using a controller then obviously use kb&m. but i disagree with what these guys are saying about aim. there is no real aiming in the game, every spell in the game has an some sort of an area of effect, its not like enter the gungeon for example.

my point is if you are equally as good at using at controller and keyboard and mouse, then this game benefits from neither

get a joystick for movement and a mouse for aiming, I 100%'ed this game on console while having played similiar titles before.

Well folks, thanks everyone for the advice. When I first started, I was using a really poor keyboard and my spells seemed to go off in the wrong locations. Also, I found it tricky to leap or flash, diagonally. Seeing as I have a good controller, I may start off by using that.

However, today I just received a brand new keyboard, so now I am in a dilema! lol, thanks anyway, and I'll see how I go with both.
