Neve's Gems suggestion.
I'm sure most of you have given the Neve's Gems a try and were likely disappointed in their performance and/or consistency. It's not uncommon for a run to go by without the gem ever being activated, and some even might end in victory. Even when they are activated, the results aren't always all too impressive, especially considering how much you have to sacrifice to make the gems work.

I've attempted to concoct several ways to buff the stones, both in quality of life, or in performance and consistency. Some examples of these are:

-Give the gems more minor buffs that become active gradually, and get more powerful the more matching arcana you have.
-Reduce the number of arcana needed to activate the gems from 7 to 6.
-Guarantee that Council Members only drop Arcana that match the Gem.
-Allow the Gem holder to hold one extra standard Arcana before entering the Chaos Trials.
-Give a discount to all relics and arcana that match the gemstone.(Example: if you have Neve's Ruby and Agni's sparkler shows up in a shop, it's on sale. Likewise with fire arcana in shops.)

Now I know some of you are probably thinking, "Magik, I use Neve's Gems all the time, and I've never lost. You just need to get gudder at the gaem." Even if you are satisfied with the current strength of the gems, I propose a way to make them more accessible while still maintaining their strength. Perhaps in addition to their buffs, the Gems also bestow a curse upon the wearer that makes him take increased damage from the element it is weak to. So Neve's Ruby would cause you to take more water damage, Neve's Sapphire would cause you to take more electric damage, etcetera. This would keep with the flavor of the gems while also giving room for some buffs to balance them out.

How do you guys feel about Neve's Gems? Do you use them often, and when you do, how long does it usually take for you to activate them? Do you think a buff is warranted? If not my suggestions, how would you go about buffing them?

I'd be happy with a simple drop weight shift to match the gem. Including in the arcana shop.

I would really love this. I always prefer to use arcana from a single element and it's always frustrating when I just can't find them.

You almost need to just play a regular run, picking up whatever arcana you can, and aim for the mysterious timekeeper guy. You'll always get the arcanas you want eventually.

honestly, the fact that the gems are so powerful when activated makes them worth using, even with the rng of the arcana drops, with the ruby for example, i was getting some insane damage with it along side poem of firey rime and royal flush, melting the final boss in recrod speed.
