Strong Combos to learn
Anyone know any strong on intreseting combos to start out learning the game? honestly, blindly buying things and seeing if they work well together does not really work to well. (It would be nice if the stuff told you want it did before buying it)

You should try out Bolt Rail + Fuelled Berserker. These 2 have a synergy, while other basic arcanas need to be spammed while in berserker, you can just hold this one down and watch your enemies melt.

Oh wow, I see what you mean. Though Bolt Rail's knockback is a drawback here, it is still very nice.

It can actually be beneficial since you can keep enemies at bay or bully them into pits. Just gotta know the knockback is there any play around it. My favourite relic for that combo would be combo gauntlet i think since it adds an additional tick in the same timeframe.

I use ice daggers with beserk. It hits just as fast and carrys you and the enemy into a corner or pit of your choice. Once you get used to the momentum it's incredibly effective.

If you hate the knockback, try with Spark Contact or Ice Dagger instead. Both basic arcana can be kept holding down except this time you move along with the enemies you attack. I used Spark Contact + Fuelled Berserker the first time I beat the game.

Oh also... Flip Flops while using the Earth Aegis arcana is borderline unfair. If you can get an infinity marble or anything else that fuels your signature gauge you can practically sit ontop of most of the bossess and melt them without taking too much damage. It only gets better if you decide to play semi-normal with that combo.

I also like Dragon Blast+Flame Breath. It's not incredibly strong, but if you do one after the other it looks like the dragon is breathing the fire and that's cool.

Scales+Shock Assault is really good for meter gain.

Any shock or freezing arcana+crashing meteor is good damage.

If you can get a Puffy Parka with Crimson Clover you can evade half the attacks thrown at you. Combine that with Spec Ops Mask for free criticals.

Hunter's Stilleto and any shock arcana is good damage.

Flip flops? I've not seen this one yet (though I DO like Earth Aegis)

I looks like Stone Shot works well with berserk as well.

I mean..it usually depends on what you want. Personally I think the flame busrt basic, mixed with the flak gauntlet relic as your starter is really great. Then you just build around that from the start on. Shock assualt is really great as your standard, as it can be used to start up, or follow up another attacl. If you like a stun with range, the icicles are decent. I used the stone blades as my signature for awhile as well for the extended cc and range. And my god the damage when used at full power XD If you are a close range fighter the water spell where icicles float around you in a ring is extremely good. Either as your standard, or if you pick it up on the way. Great faux shield, and constant damage to an extent. Again it really just depends on how you wanna play, but...I hope this helped XD

Bouncing Bubbles in combination with a signature arcana which can be used often like Shock Assault or Null Parade.

I analysed a lot of arcana and Bouncing Bubble is the arcana with the highest signature charging rate.

5 Bubbles + 5 foes = 1/2 of the Signature Bar

Also are the Bubbles very usefull against archers and mages, because in tight area fights will the Bubbles bounce to the walls and pillars and will hit the foes. Every hit from a Bubble prevents the foe from attack. You are also able to use the bouncing effect to attack around a corner.

Tearing Whirlwind is almost unfairly overpowered, in my opinion. It's mobile, it's got a wide area, and it drags smaller enemies around to wherever you want them, and groups large piles of them together.

Personally, I pair it with the Shock Assault Signature arcana. Drag 'em all together, then Shock Assault the whole crowd at once.

And, since both of them hit multiple times, I pair them with the Vampire Eyeglasses and prioritize buying crit chance up items, which gives me a fairly steady health drip.

A good combo that builds super real fast, Tidal wave+ any multi hitting signature like tracer flames, air boomerang or any of the electric ones wich build meter real fast.

I really enjoyed this combo for awhile, but I'd only take tearing whirlwind as an arcana I found along the way. It does work extremely well with shock assault tho!
