Favorite spell combinations/Builds?
For spells, I've more or less fallen in love with Tearing Whirlwind + Arcane Intervention.

Tearing Whirlwind is a standard Wind Arcana that summons wind around you, drawing enemies into your face. Arcane Intervention is a Chaos Arcana that first throws a small pillar of Chaos onto the ground which then detonates after some time or can be manually detonated. When set off, enemies near your are teleported to the pillar and it explodes into a swirld of Chaos Energy. So basically you throw the pillar, use Tearing Whirldwind to draw enemies into you, then detonate Arcane intervention, causing the enemies you sucked up to be teleported into it.

This is doubly good when you throw the pillar over a pit, because enemies that are teleported to it will fall to their death.

As for builds, I've been really enjoying a Melee Crit build. The main components are Dice of Nemesis (Causes your crits to sometimes massive damage, which was 300 damage for me when I did it), Awe Cloak (Cloak that gives you crit chance and crit damage) and Earthen Drill arcana attack, which is a melee, multi-hitting drill attack. You basically look to get Clover and Dark katana, then you're consitently critting with drill and getting the mega crits uncommonly. More common than you might think, thanks to how many hits the drill does.

Bolt Rail + Fuelled Berserk = nonstop attack. It is pretty strong on bosses because the knockback does not work and they stand still while you are buzzsawing their health.

FB + a couple of the basics is really fun. Primarily the ones where you can just hold the button down for an endless stream of attacks lol. Like the Lightning punches and the ice daggers.

So the build i made:
First off my relic is: Secret Wild Card (slower fill rate for signature but can be used twice)
Second, my dash is- Chaos warp: allows me to teleport so i have a nice 1sec i-frame to dodge attacks guarenteed
Third, My basic is: Spark Contact (This is a rapid fire basic attack for those extra combos)
Fourth, My Standard is Tidal Wave (Prolly BY FAR one of the most op standards out there since it can form a bubble around you on cast and cause a hard attack bringing in A LOT of signature)
Fifth, Shock assault: basicallyh this is just all out dps and a possible one shot LOL

- Bolt Rail
- Circuit Line (Chaotic Rift)
- Bouncing Bubble
- Shock Assault (Null Parade)

Optional during run:
- Thunder Drop
- Arc Sphere

Its all about hits per second to charge the signature. Bouncing Bubble is the arcana with the most signature charge rate. 5 good placed bubbles into a mob will charge your signature bar to a half. The Bouncing Bubbles are also able to prevent enemies from attacking. The rest of the charge can be get per Bolt Rail.

I like to call my build Spin to Win

- Air Spinner
- Gust Burst
- Tearing Whirlwind
- Volt Pinball

Recommended pickups:
- Cardice Prime
- Ice Chakram

Initial Item:
- Flak Gauntlet

Activate Volt Pinball, Ice Chakram and/or Cardice Prime and follow up with Tearing Whirlwind and just rip through the suckers.

Regen on crit/high damage output build:

- Earth Knuckles
- Chaotic Rift
- Shock Assault (Basic), but anything goes well.
- Null Parade (Signature)

Outfit:
- Awe, try to get its upgrade mid-run, it's worth the gold and health

Initial Relic:
- Vampire glasses

Not a 100% success rate, but if you get your hands on critical placebo or any critic boosting relics, you are set.

I have a weird machine gun crit build that isnt that good, but its fun if you get the right relics for it:
Awe outfit
Analytical Monocle relic
Chaos crusher basic
Wave front dash (for some good survivability)
Wind flurry standard
Obsidian cascade signature

Outfit:
Grit
Basic:
Air Spinner (360 AOE)
Dash:
Wave Front (Water shield when dashing)
Spell 1: Candice Prime
Spell 2: Volt Pinball (Hint: If there's only one enemy present, the balls don't discharge and you'll deal more damage, works really well on bosses.)

Relic:
Reinforced Bracers (Your projectiles destroy other projectiles.)
Note:
Reinforced Bracers is a fifth-level relic, I used Glove of Midas along the way in order to afford whatever i wanted.

Find:
Earthen Aegis
Evading Zephyr

Play like a melee beast, you'll have an anti-projectile shield up as long as you're attacking with spells or basic. Melee classes wont be able to get close because of the spinning-death trap you create. Practice pinning enemies into corners and watch them melt, find the perfect spacing on bosses so Candice+Volt are both hitting at the same time. Getting the upgraded versions of every spell will make you that much more potent.

So far, I've been building a mono-fire set with Hope Outfit, relic Royal Flush, Flame Strike, Searing Rush, Ward of Flames and Tracer Barrage. I've only reached about 2-1 to 2-2, though.

Tectonic Drill + Shock Nova for a bunch of crits + Vampire Eyeglasses + Awe cape (which was how I managed my first win, though that was also aided with a ton of other relics, most notably Puffy Parka and Crimson Clover).

I also love spells that gather the enemies in front of you, then finish off with something huge. Like Dragon Blast/Spiraling Typhoon then Exploding Fireball.

The build that got me to the final boss (but I died cos my HP was too low)

Venture Cloak

Spark Contact (melee)
Chaos Rift (teleport dash lets you jump over obstacles / enemy projectiles)
Mortal Coil (chaos spear drags enemies to you, very low cooldown)
Cyclone Boomerang (very low cooldown)

Ancient Mechanism as the relic.

This build is very fun and you get to cycle Mortal Coil and Cyclone Boomerang VERY quickly due to their low base cooldown and the CD bonus of the Venture cloak. Due to the speed of the cooldowns and the fact that both provide a substantial boost to your charge meter, you should be able to use your super move on basically 75% of all rooms.

The relic is pretty optional, I like the mechanism cause sometimes you will complete the perfect time crystal.

Notable mentions to replace mechanism would be Ancient Fountain Pen (after 20 uses your ultimate does 40% more damage) or Regenerative Inkwell (heal for 30 instead of doing your ultimate).

im to newest in this game. I only played 2 hours.. and cldnt defeat any boss yet y.y

Why they dont put damages on Arcanes?? Wldnt be better to see dmg and cooldown to choose??? I know you can select one and try it to maniquies but better if u see the stats xDD
