Can you play as a female wizard?
Thinking of getting this game but all the screen shots show a male wizard. Can you choose your character's gender or is it locked in?

i think thers is no playable female wizard cause robe is hiding their face and body
so it can be male and female at the same time. :d

nope, the most you can do is pick/buy different colored cloaks. Tho im not sure if its ever stated your male. The character is kinda androgynous. But if you associate being fully clothed as a male and huge cleavage as female. I can understand why you assumed the characters gender. =þ

This. The PC's gender is unspecified.

The wizard is ambiguous at best. There are no defining features that indicate gender.

The character has absolutely no traits that indicate their gender. Pretty sure that the character's purposefully designed that way, too.

I'm pretty sure the wizard is supposed to be gender neutral so it can basically be whichever you want.

If your basis for buying this game or not is whether your 32 pixel character sprite is female or male, you might want to rethink your attitude.

Witches and Wizards are completely different things. Wizards can be any gender, while Witches(as far as I know) are exclusively female.
The PC isn't even a Wizard technically, but an Arcanist.

No the PC is a wizard, the final boss uses multiple elements like the PC, still a wizard.

Now that you mention it, Witches are female-exclusive, but are there any Magic Classes that are Male-Specific?

Hell even Warriors got Amazons.
