Hope and Patience robes

If you have bought all outfits, then you have unlocked new effects for the Hope and Patience robes: while in the past they did nothing, now both increase your max HP and you movement speed, and each adds two other bonus; for Hope, increased damage and critical chance, and for Patience, increased armor and evade chance.

What I don't understand, though, is that for this reason they seem strictly better than any other outfit, providing 4 bonus rather than 2, without any drawback. Is it really the case, or are their bonus less important, in such a way that all robes are actually equivalent?

I'd really like to be able to use other outfits without feeling like I'm playing sub-optimally :/

As far as I can tell they only give half to normal bonus t each of the 4 things they provice, as opposed to full bonus for 2 things, so they're equivalent in regards to absolute power level, just more balanced

Yet another reason we need actual documentation of some kind, be it in the game or official information. Getting a little tired of this.

Are you certain? My tests would seem to indicate the contrary, but it's not exactly hard science...

With increased HP on a robe other than Hope/Patience, you get +50HP. With the Hope/Patience robes you only have +25. It would make sense for the other stats to carry over the same way. I don't know if they do or not, but it makes sense they might.

I tested it more lengthly, and it doesn't look like the damage increase on the robe of Hope is half of that on other robes, however it does look like it's slightly lower. Still not really clear to me, though.
