What is the point of Earth and Fire magic?
So water is weak to lightning, earth is weak to wind, and fire is weak to water. So what is the point of using earth or fire magic if they don't counter anything? Are there enemys weak to those elements later on in the game?

They have already announced the Sky Palace area which will be Air based so I would imagine there is another to come as well to complete the element circle

fire magic is strong AF even if it is weak against two of the 3 council members. using one fire spell for general enemies is actually pretty decent as long as your build doesn't revolve around fire.

earth has a ton of good utility spells that I rank among the best spells in the game. it is unfortunate that earth doesn't exploit any weaknesses either.

that said this isn't pokemon. damage is still damage and getting good damage is always helpful.

^ this. If anything, I'd think that lightning might be the weakest (but only because of the lightning spells that I have. Idk about the others)

honestly I think lightning and wind are the best elements in the game. mainly due to racking up hits so fast so you can spam signatures.

wind is more about moving enemies around mostly toward you. and lightning is mostly about keeping enemies in place because shock is hands down the best status in the game IMO.

Definitely not the weakest. Try lightning with the dash arcana as your signature, and the bolt (the one that jumps to enemies) as your standard. You'll basically stun lock them on repeat if you have some cooldown reduction+know how to put in your basic in between to maximize stun length.

Yep, Lightening is just insane. After using it for a while I've found it hard to want to use anything else, they just don't really compare. I suppose the fun aspect is there, but in terms of beating the game Lightening is just too useful. It's the one element I've used all the same arcana from and still did well. I can't do that with the others.

Starting to love the earth element spells now that I have a few unlocked. The utility stuff is amazing.

I absolutely LOVE earth magic, and typically use a lot of lignting in my builds. Earth is very good at knockback and lockdown with constant damage. Also things like Toxic Bolas hold enemies in place without a need for a proc chance while poisoning at the same time. You really need to buy some more ground magics guys.

Yeah I'm gonna' try Earth next. My plan so far for unlocking and using is to get a bunch of arcana from the same Element, and use them all together to see how they work. Once I do that I'll be able to build a decent multi-element setup with the best from each.
