Mystic Monopole NERF PLEASE!!!!
For the player who don't know what it does, it increases knockback when striking foes. Sounds good right?

Well that's the problem. The knockback is way too far. You can barely chain anything. It's only good for ranged moves and even then you can't really chain with it. You have to rely on your right click and Q for it to even be decent. I suggest making the knockback a bit less.

Also, on bosses like Burst mage, it makes it extremely hard since you're knocking its mobs around way too far to even do significant damage.

That doesn't solve the problem at all. The item itself pushes the enemies too far to be useful.

You can drop items? How do you do that, please?

I haven't dropped an item yet, but I think you can click and drag it.

When you open the menu it's written under your spell bar.
With an XBOX controller select one of your (non-cursed) item and press X.

yo're 100% correct. It ruins some attacks liek the lightning melee, making fights drag on, and possibly kill you lol.
( i own this on GoG, dont shoot me )

No, it doesn't. This item is a god send on areas with pitfalls. You effortless get to push enemies into them because of this item.

Don't like the pushback? Then DROP IT.

Stop trying to shoe horn it into your build. This like complaining about the battery not working with your fire build. Not every relic is going to apply to every build.

So what you're saying is that the item should ONLY apply to pitfall parts of the map? Sounds like a wasted item slot tbh. I'm not shoehorning it into my build at all lol. Just doesn't make any sense to have that bad of knockback. If you can't knock enemies into the pitfalls without the item, you clearly need to re-work your build because nearly every spell has knockback. The fact that this item increases your knockback by a TON makes a lot of spells virtually useless and, like I said before, makes you rely on your Q way too much. It just needs a slight nerf so that all spells can use the item effectively, if not, most spells.

its legitimately one of the best relics in the game. mix it with homing shots or the wind agent and you basically won the run.

just finished a run with that actually picked it the wind agent and fireball and I won the run. I basically didnt have to worry about most of the normal encounters in the game. i Just pushed them off passively with the agents. the first floor was a bit rough but then I got that wind dragon spell and bubbles and no enemy could come near me.

Yes, you are shoe horning it into your build, otherwise you wouldn't be complaining about it. If it isn't working for you, then drop it. The game isn't forcing you to use it. Its fine as is.

+1 on this. Absolutely my favorite relic so far. It's probably OP, but it fits really well into a build designed to keep enemies away from you rather than tryin to combo damage.

Except that I'm not shoehorning it into my build as every time I lose, I change my build and considering I've picked up the Mystic Monopole a few times and doesn't work with any of the attacks that I have (8 basic attacks, 6 dashes, 25 standard attacks, and 6 signatures).

I have yet to find any homing attacks so I didn't even know they were in the game o.o If there are actual homing attacks then, nevermind the nerf. I was thinking it was only good with extreme ranged attacks but since homing attacks are a thing, then nevermind!

The item is designed so you can knock enemies away from you / into pits easy at the cost of making combos harder. That is the WHOLE POINT of the item and there is nothing stopping you from dropping it, killing the boss then picking it back up again.
