Multiplayer coop when?
title. Considering buying but only if they will add multi coop - local is not acceptable
And don't tell me to use parsec i tried many times and it sometimes works good sometimes laggy and i don't want to spend time on fixing parsec to just play a game with friend while devs can add multiplayer coop. Please.

I would say that you shouldn't get your hopes up because the developers are only a team of two and something like online co-op is extremely difficult to do while keeping the ping/lag down.

They most likely don't want to do it because if they did and it was not perfect everyone would complain and get angry at the developers.

Like Ladrason said, but to add to it. the Devs have been open about that being an area they have little to no experience in it, so more than likely you'd get something that didn't work all that well.

Parsec is your only real option.

also dont downtalk Local multiplayer, so few devs are up to putting the feature in games anymore. you make it seem like it's an unwanted feature when 9/10 it'd be preferred.

Local coop is always the best! But.... I play on the Xbox One and I just moved 600 miles away and my brother and I never beat the game. I think you can now see the problem :(

They have said they have very little experience with it and have no intention of adding it in the future. So i would say its not gonna get it

Just considering that statement you dont want them to try to add it. maybe in a sequel down the line after they've worked on that side or hired an outsider to help with it.

Just gonna jump in here and tell those that have not caught the news but Steam is soon going to add a feature where you can play local multiplayer over the internet so the whole online multiplayer problem won't be a problem in the future. Well, at least if both of you have at least 10-30Mbps internet.

the better option. Would be far more functional than trying to shoehorn it into the game.

BIG NEWS
yes, remote play works great and is fun, but id really love for the game to be able to work on sepperate screens, why? because local multiplayer means that if one person goes into the corner the other wont be able to see what will come ahead and such wich is just asking for death in a rouge, the game does not have that much replay value other then collecting all relics and arcana so a multiplayer where we dont have to share the screens would be a really good add-on to the game

I know it's not a fix but I had the same problem and was able to sort of fix it by zooming out the camera.
I made a post about it here and it's fairly easy to do so if you want to you can try it out.

Steam Remote Play & Parsec are both good options
