Can the Remote Play work?
I tried with a few friends and it doesn't work at all.

Well the feature is still in it's beta phase, so it might get better in the future.
But maybe you want to share your detailed experiences with the game in the forum for remote play itself, so they know which games and what does and doesn't work.

I managed to get it working with a friend. Had to restart a couple of times after opting into beta. Both people have to be up to date.
Me and my friend were able to do it after he plugged in a controller on his pc.

Yes it works. I played with a friend and we played with a controller each.
I hosted and he said it had no input lag at all.

Remote Play 'works' fine, but unfortunately if both parties don't have god internet, the one who's net is worse will get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥, blurred screen that makes play mostly impossible. Bonus points to rogue/stealth enemies who blur into the background when the screen filter looks like a damn VHS tape.

Sick joke, considering that net quality isn't good enough for streaming multiplayer to be 100% perfect in most parts of the world..

Had a couple of PvP/PvE runs with a friend earlier.

Had a few hiccups in the beginning (figuring out how the system works in the first place), but in the end we had a blast with it.

He's even considering buying the game now thanks to this.

Remote play is a awful, stutters so bad

Just played some games with a friend. No hiccups, no stuttering, no delay, and absolutely no "god internet" in the works here. You just need a decent internet plan, and it should work just fine.
Steam Remote Play & Parsec are both good options
