Maybe the "Unfrozen" devs are actually trying to make a good HoMM game (like Limbic HoMM7 devs), but I'm not sure if they have enough talent and experience for it AND there is a high risk that Ubi$oft (publisher and unfortunately current owner of HoMM IP) will just pull the plug in mid development like they did with HoMM 6 and 7. And each time, inclduding HoMM 5, devs were crunched so Ubi$oft could save some money. Terrible corporation that treats devs and customers very poorly.
So far, Olden Era looks like a cheap indie mobile game. I don't like it's art style. And focus on competetive multiplayer instead of classic multi that most HoMM fans play and singleplayer campaigns. But I need to see more to properly judge it. Early impressions are not good though.
thats a fair opinion.
The issue is that it is still published by Ubisoft, so depending on how much they want stuff to be "intergrated" into the Ubisoft "experience", it could be a nightmare to actually get the game to play, updated, mods etc..
