How to install and activate Trial by Fire?

I bought Trial by Fire on Steam

Then Heroes Vii downloaded about 6.6 Gbs and shortcut to Heroes 7 Trial by Fire appeared on desktop.

But when I click on addon shortcut, main Heroes 7 vanilla 2.0 game is loaded and addon is nowwhere to be seen

Also I don't have it on my list in Uplay PC application


I'm a little confused here, because I haven't seen installation of addon. Is it included in 2.0 patch? Am I missing some step?

Solved.

Uninstalled all, then istalled Trial by Fire, and only after that - vanilla Heroes 7. It worked it last

It does not work.
I tried all the possibilities of instal and uninstal but nothing works.
Uplay support asks me to enter the activation key that is not found on Steam.
Steam support does not respond and the refund ask bug .

It's starting to annoy me seriously .

Thank you for your reply.

This is what I did:
1. I have uninstalled everything.
2. I installed through Steam "Might and Magic: Heroes VII - Trial by Fire" but not "Might and Magic: Heroes VII" but I have not started to not steam that automatically installs me Uplay.
3. I went to your link and downloaded Uplay PC then I installed.
4. I launched "Might and Magic: Heroes VII - Trial by Fire".

The game is started but when I go in the campagne, the extension remains gray.

I already tried to do the same by having installed (between 1 and 2) and launched (between 3 and 4) "Might and Magic: Heroes VII" but the result remains the same.

Guys, I have a solution that worked for me, after countless attempts to activate it.
Here it is:
1. Run Uplay with Administrator privileges
2. Run Steam with Administrator privileges
3. Launch Trial by Fire addon from Steam library (I previously uninstalled base game, not sure whether it's required)
4. Agree on prompt

I didn't uninstall the base game and it works for me. Thx a lot!
