Might & Magic Heroes VII – Trial by Fire

Game is broken
Report it on the store page. It won't install properly and gives an error message saying that uplay is needed which doesn't exist anymore. This is basically fraud under Canadian law where I believe ubisoft is located.

Im sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues installing Might & Magic Heroes VII.

You are correct, Uplay no longer exists as it is has been changed to Ubisoft Connect. Please download the latest version of the Ubisoft Connect launcher here [ubisoftconnect.com] by clicking download in the top right corner then try again.

Oh, Hi ! I didn`t know about that update ! Seems I need to check my games , thank you so much ! Does that mean the black screen issue in Heroes VI is fixed as well ?

Aren't you supposed to fix the game? I'm not asking to be rude but I am asking why you choose to keep a broken installation method.

And I just hate games where you have to install third-party to Steam louncers and the like.
They sell to Steam, but they make me check in on their platforms, which I would never go to.
The game should run and work, not require additional conditions and agreements. Not to mention the fixes, and other tambourine dancing.

Would you be able to clarify what exactly is broken regarding the installation or the game itself?

I understand that your concern might be in relation to potentially misleading information within the Store page of the product, as it states Uplay is required, therefore if this is what you're referring to, I can confirm that this has been brought up to our team accordingly.

The issue is the game won't run without uplay and that isn't being installed anymore. Therefore your product is broken! The installation method for your product doesn't work and I can't play what I've paid for. FIX THE INSTALLATION!

Hi I have steam installed and I'm using it to install the product I bought from the steam

Sorry to hear you are having this trouble.

If you haven't already I would recommend to download Ubisoft Connect[www.ubisoft.com] directly.

Once this is downloaded and launched you should be able to proceed as intended through Steam.
