Any news of a M&M Heroes VIII?

Anyone know if there will ever be a new heroes? Wish they would sell the IP to some young and hungry new developer that would put actual love and care into it, would even kickstart that ♥♥♥♥ lol

According to the latest interview with Erwan La Breton, Ubisoft plans to neither release Heroes VIII in the near future nor sell the rights.

This has to be one of the stupidest crap in the world. If they don't want to develop and work with the franchise - why don't they just sell it?! Apparently they can't manage it - someone else might actually be able to ....

Yeah same thing with the Dune franchise, owned by some toy company that does not dev games yet they don´t sell off the rights. -.-

no there isn't if ubisoft still owns it will probably switch dev companies again and they will ♥♥♥♥ it up even farther best heroes games where all 3do new world computings. even their heroes 3 hd remake pales in comparsion to orig version its missing a lot of the maps and features orig had... honestly ubisoft needs to dump to whole might and magic franchise and heroes of might and magic games onto a new developer or they need to pull heads out of their butts and ask the community for info on what they liked about all heroes games they have made and make the damn game great again using the info.

Yeah they should sell the rights to some young and hungry company with a passion for turn based strategy. :( Hate when a company just sits on the rights for something and either does nothing with it or just releases rushed garbage, tho I enjoyed 7 and think it would have been great if it had been more polished.
