No sound? o.o

Hello there! Anyone got any tips on how to fix 'no sound' issue? As in my game plays no sound at all neither at startup or any point in the game.

Have tried googling the issue, but only found a tip on checking the firewall doesn't stop some of the files. Have whitelisted the game in my firewall and reinstalled the game several times. No luck there :/

I guess you've already checked the volume sliders in the audio menu? Try also checking the volume controls in Windows.

I have :) And all sounds works perfectly with other games, music, videos etc. Hence why confused as what the issue might be.

I'm really perplexed by this. If you could, please send your Output_log.txt file to [e-mail]. You can find it in the /Expeditions Viking_Data/ folder next to the game's executable. Please bear in mind we might not get back to you very fast, as we're currently all on vacation.

Are you using a headset by chance, or just speakers?

Just speakers. But have tried with headset too, in case that helps. :) Neither worked. (while both gave sound for other games, music, movies etc.)

Are you using a dedicated sound card, or through your motherboard?

I play on a laptop. Not sure if it's dedicated or in the motherboard, but it's an Lenovo Y510P in case that helps?
