Game won't start
Hey folks,

Has anyone run into the issue that the game just won't start and you get the Oops error message on launch?

I've tried verifying files, reinstalling, moving between hard drives and following the advice to do with codecs from the sticky but none of that has helped.

I also tried emailing the support e-mail address over a week ago with the error logs but never heard anything back.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Worked out what the issue was, the game conflicted with Citrix Workplace of all things.

Look in the support section on here. Plenty of us with the same issue. I've tried all the "fixes" on here but nothing worked. They haven't replied to any thread I saw with this issue. Unfortunately, I played awhile ago and went over the limit to be able to get a refund, now I'm just stuck with as game I can't play. Definitely won't be supporting them by buying the sequel if they can't be bothered to respond to bugs.

I haven't run into that; however, if you reinstall that should work. I found an exploit that you can do in the second "scene" the first time you can travel on the world map and you go to the first battle confrontation with the nephew or wahtever. If you sneak around to the side and do not confront right away there is an open barn on the edge of the scene. There is a pitchfork. Well if you grab it, save, reload, it is there for the taking again, again, aggaaaaaaaiiiiin, and however more times you want it. Not sure if money works in this game yet or not as I am on the second scene literally but you can break it down for EXP and mats over and over and over.

Cheers for the replies folks.

Yeah I uninstalled Citrix Workplace and it just worked which is the oddest conflict for a game I've ever come across! I reinstalled a different version of the Workplace software and now there's no conflict. Who knows what was going on there!

I had the same problem, now i have new version of Citrix and it works well.

Thank you for the advise.

I never thought this is the reason for the crash after installation. LOL.
