Britain: Morcant, Alfe.
Eydis is at farm at your village. Aife is at Perth. Rest you cant miss.
This is really disaapointing, in conquistador there were a lot more.
This part really is dissapointing. Since I already meet them all, killed Morcant didn´t want him.
And have Aife.
Consider the named Npcs more in line with the few tribal characters you met in the new lands who are all wrapped up, part of, and have their own quests.
I'm not sure which I prefer, honestly. They're different approaches with their own merits, but I kinda liked how fresh the Conquistador model was - the Vikings model basically fits into the mold of most any party-based RPG you can name these days. Having a lot of different followers with their own unique but fairly loose personalities felt more like being a leader, I thought - you're in charge of a bunch of people who you get to know, but there's always the bit of distance between the commander and the follower, and I dig that. On the other hand, though, it's hard to deny that there's more actual plot related to your party members now, even if it does feel sometimes like you're in charge of the Super Friends.
That was nice.
On the other hand though, I like how these characters are a lot more fleshed out and if you want a full party (without the mercenaries which I suppose if you wanted to you could kick everyone else out/sacrifice/exile and use to replace) you actually have to do a balancing act to keep people happy.
I actually like/dislike some of these characters instead of seeing them just as their class/traits and whether it would fit in with my current game.
For example in the very first quest of the feast ambush there is the option of incapacitating all the sons and then exile them, it would have been fun to find them out in the map and give them the chance of reclaiming their farm if the guy with the unique portrait which was the eldest son join your hird. That's just an idea, there are many unique characters with their own portraits, the prospect of finding new recruits out there is a fun concept
