What worked for me is to reduce source of light points to 1, reduce postprocessing and disable the option at the bottom (has to do something with water and lightining?).
Temperatures got much stable, though in demanding environments it still keeps the card around 80-something percent busy and at 71-75 degrees temp.
Definitely something wrong with GPU usage. Like i got 65C Path of Exile and Dota 2 on high quality. Also when you minimize game GPU still loaded.
WIth MSI Afterburner you can limit GPU power by reducing maximum allowed temperature https://i.imgur.com/3wsa2GD.png first click on "Prioritize".
This is a common Unity engine problem, incidentally, but the framerate limiter usually fixes it. I've got my framerate limit set to 200 and I've had no overheating.
The problem seemed to fix itself for me, I couldn't tell you why.
You can easily notice it in the main screen after game start. GPU just burns at 80 C.
Framerate limiter doesn´t solve high GPU load with SSAA. Got it on 60.
Hi, if you're getting temperature issues:
http://prntscr.com/f3ihsd
its a great game at all -if the bugs are fixed soon :D
edit : the frame limiter does nothing
No gameplay noticeable problems.
