No Escape quest

I'm completely stuck on the "No Escape" quest. It's the quest you pick up from the slave trader in Orkneyjar, you are supposed to find escaped slaves and I have no idea where they are. I thought it would be Perth and I did find some weird travelers in the corner of the city but couldn't interact with them so I guess I'm looking at the wrong place. Anyone know where they are?

Damnit, no you found them - some of them anyway. If no fight starts when you walk up to them, that's a bug.

Argh it's the same bug we've been having all over the place - the conversation is set to only play once, so if you've ever entered its radius before you got the quest, it won't trigger once you have it.

Until the next patch, you can activate the conversation manually by opening the developer console (with the minus key) and typing "conversation Perth/PerthEscapedThralls". Very sorry about that.

Huh strange, what about the rest of them then? You said I only found a few of them and I have no idea where the others are. Perth aswell?

The second group is in Dun Phris. I don't know if it bugs itself like the one in Perth as I found them after getting the quest.

In my current playthrough (version 1.05), I did this exact sequence: ran across the thrall group in perth before I got the quest.

went back after I got the quest... everything triggered perfectly.

so whatever bug there was with it seems to have indeed been fixed.

The first group can be found in Perth in the lower right corner.

I have another problem with this quest I had to use "conversation Perth/PerthEscapedThralls" to activate the quest. I found the first group no problems there, but the second location Dun Phris is not appearing on the map? what to do?

What was the original problem you had? And have you done any of the pict or northumbrian quests?
