Ethnic diversity within different viking clans

Hello there, i am a big fan of european history and that is why my interest peaked when i saw that a viking game was coming out!

However when looking through different screenshots of the game i came to the horrible realization that the devs have completely whitewashed scandinavian culture.

Half if not more of the inhabitants in what is now known as Sweden, Norway and Denmark were actually black! We are all descended from africans and since there is no such thing as white history there is no real argument to why not more than half of the vikings in Expeditions look like historical vikings which were north african.

Please we have enough hate as it is, thank you for your time.

The viking siblings Gerimund and Håmund Hjørson from Rogaland, Norway was described as black. Their mother was from Siberia and their father was King Hjør Halfson. Geirmund moved to Iceland and became the richest person there. The siblings got the nickname "Heljarskin" meaning "dark skin". Not sure how dark their skin can be when they come from Siberia though.

As has been rightly pointed out, once black people had lived in Scandinavia for a while, they would soon be very light skinned over time.
