Now I m at 3 and can upgrade any of them, what would you recommend?
I m thinking of just going for the things that build the fastest or choosing for buildings that give you weekly benifits (the earlier you get them the more you will accumulate such as folkmoot or moor upgrade)
Anyone can tell me what the prosperity does for you? Having a market with traders, what does that do?
Anyway, my Folkmoot is level 2 I think and I am going forward to build it completely.
I am not saying it is the best choice though, it seemed to me at the time I built it, that it was the best thing to start with.
Now, looking back at it... I would say that the possible best course of action is to build those buildings that bring ressources.
Now, the most important ressource to get, I think are the hardest to find.
100 valuable per week sure sounds good, but the first maths that I would do it to think:
- how much valuable did I spend to buy the wood that I used to build that structure
- how much valuable is it going to get me through the course of the game
I think ill be on the positive side by the end, but I didn't really make the maths.
I know that I bought about 500 timber for 5000 valuable.
Then, what I notice in my game is that the ressource I am the most lacking is pelt.
I don't remember if any structure brings pelt, but if so, that's probably something that I would build.
Noting that a single ''ok'' armor to craft cost about 40 pelt.
On this subject, I am thinking maybe, the best thing to do is not to craft them but to simply buy them and to sell pelts to vendors that are in high demand.
You see, there is a lot of question marks.
Then proceeding I would say
Herbs > Food
Because food is easy to catch, while you can't really have a source of medicine other than constructing the herbal garden.
Salvage sure are precious. So any source of salvage is good, even more if you decide to craft yourself your stuff.
Although it is far less critical than pelts, since you'll gather many items that you'll be able to disassemble later one.
And then, I think, maybe, building up defences might play a role in the storyline later on.
The only things that come close to mattering are the upgrades that give you weekly bonuses and the market, but even then they don't really make a huge difference - with, maybe, the exception of the trader.
