Healing Injuries! Here's how you do it!
Okay, so injuries seem to be plaquing everyone and having not played conquistadors I had no idea how to deal with them.. it's pretty simple, but not something you can just google yet. You can deal with injuries by resting in a campsite. There are some things you will have to have/do though in order to deal with them.

You need medicine. Without it you cannot recover the injury, also depending on the severity it may take a few shifts. Second, you need a character (any of your availables) with the support skill healing. My suggestion is when you get more characters, make a dedicated healer.. dont' even bother fighting with them, just make that the camp counselor if you will. Give them Healing, cooking, etc. Hope this helps! :d2brewmaster:

Also note, you need someone with rank 5 in healing to be able to revive them during battle.
I always have at least two healers, which if u think about it, could heal up to 4 shifts if i need them to and if u have your healers with heavy sleeper that would up it to 6 possible heals on different injuries, also remember ur treating specific injuries and the constitution skill onlyu costs 3 points and it helps with deteroration

Great add on! Should also note that the healers cannot heal themselves... I found this out the hard way. lol

Outside of combat you can visit Hulda (in the bog) back at your village and she will heal your party members for you. :meadhorn:
Thats cool! Are there any other healers along the way or just Hulda?

It is only Hulda and the camping skill that can heal your injuries.

...So, are there any cheats available for that? Because honestly the fact that you can't heal in a village or town is ridiculous. Especially if they have a temple.

It's not a fantasy game, my friend. Pagan temples in real life were places for worshipping the gods, not places where a cleric stood ready at all times to cast Cure Wounds for 100 gp.

I get it, and your right about that. BUT, apparently, this thing is based (however loosly), on the TV History Channel show "Vikings". Except for some provisions er whatever, at the temple you can buy a magic necklas or artifact to aid you in combat. So, I figured that THAT would extend a concept of another PBS show where apothocaries would enable a system for such. I just figured...

This game is in no way, shape, or form based on the TV series. I've seen a grand total of 2 episodes of it :)

im curious to what exactly made you think it was based on the tv show?

Lol, I just see a lot of simularities. Even though it's someone elses story. But VERY close to the events in "Vikings", on the History Channel. But I still enjoy it. Especially the camping movie when you rest.
Also, They had those healer herbalists even in Norway, and Sweden. I'm just saying... :steamhappy:
