Just sent two reviews (Strategy Gamer and MMORPG) to Blue, so bet he'll have them up at Blue's News today!
Bloody Gods, I never considered it to be a possibility. Depending of the degree of freedom allowed, this is a game that could benefit greatly from modding, I would gladly do some myself.
From animations to equipment, base building improvements, quests, companions ... So much work to do!
Now that I think about it, you could give an editor as a paid DLC? Seems logical, since it requires some work from the Dev side, and the non-modders wouldn't have to bother buying it.
I know that you suffered financially from the bugfesty start.
Mods are love.
Just in case you are not receiving enough requests for this (@Jonas), I'd like to echo what Commissar said.
Big fan of early medieval literature and I have countless sagas in my head, I would like to see played out...
I'm not really a modder, but I've been waiting for a game like this for ages and I will learn whatever it takes to mod it and create sagas for others to enjoy.
Paid DLC would be just fine with me, and I'm willing to wait till Ragnarok to get it (well, a week or two before that would be nice..)
Thank you for the game!
Same here, while I am no modding expert, I have dabbled in modding Mount & Blade (a game built on it's modding comunity) and can second that for most singleplayer games a modding tool for the community can only increase the popularity of the game.
Mods keep the game alive more than you think.
Suggestions eventhough we are three years later
1. more voice acting for dialogues
2. better 4k res support
3. a few other non game breaking oddities that i will post more on as I play
at any rate thank you to you and the team for this game, vary much enjoy just sitting back and murdering things just because i can, with out fear of retribution from the gaming gods
We don't own the Expeditions series anymore so whether Viking will ever get another update is up to THQ Nordic at this point I'm afraid. But we do appreciate your comments and continued interest!
