Why was the Casual Mode removed?

For some inexplicable reason, the Casual Mode is gone from this game.

I liked it being there, why exactly was it removed...?

It added replay value to the game and was a nice feature.

In a way, they were merged, you can take as long as you want, but to get medals you have to do them fast like in timed, that also carries the benefit of not needing to beat Timed mode just to unlock bonus levels
